Mastectomy Bra Fitting

Having a mastectomy undoubtedly alters the way you view your body, and having a bra fitting afterwards may seem a little daunting. That’s why, before Consultant, Natalie, comes to your home, she’ll talk to you to find out more about what you need to help find the perfect fit and choose the perfect mastectomy bra for you. Natalie is specially trained to carry out the fitting both with and without your prosthesis and will bring a selection of bras that will help you to feel comfortable and confident.

"For many years now, I’ve fitted women who have had mastectomies. For some it’s a matter of finding a bra that’s just comfortable; for others it’s about feeling feminine; while, for some, it marks a real turning point after their surgery. During the fitting we talk about the types of clothes they like to wear and how to fit their prosthesis in the bra. It’s generally a very positive experience for both of us and I always arrange it for a time that really suits the client so that we don’t need to rush."
